Le Touessrok is the epitome of cool and modern sophistication and is one of the leading resorts in the world. Lying on a stunning stretch of white, sandy coastline, it looks out over the peaceful Trou d’Eau Douce Bay. Two gorgeous islands are found in the lagoon area, with one of them being Ile aux Cerfs that boasts a magnificent 18 hole championship golf-course that was designed by the legendary Bernhard Langer.
The 5-star hotel is the ideal holiday destination for families and couples and offers a wonderful choice of facilities. These include an extensive array of land based and water sport activities, five restaurants, a well known Givenchy Spa, as well as a butler service. There are also three beautiful waterfront villas that offer spacious and ultra exclusive accommodation. The villas use the most up-to-the-minute technology for meeting the expectations of the discerning guest.
The tropical warmth of Mauritius permeates the resort. Le Touessrok is located on the eastern coastline of Mauritius, and looks out towards the clear azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean. A coral reef that lies beyond the islands of the resort protects the gentle Trou d’Eau Douce Bay lagoon.
Accommodation at Le Touessrok includes the villas, suites and rooms. Each villa offers three-bedroom opulence that is totally discreet, with separate entrances and private garden with infinity pool. The décor is Mauritian in style, with cool and contemporary finishes. The sea-facing rooms and suites are located on the main-land within the Coral and Hibiscus Wings. Personalised butler services are offered to the guests on a 24-hour basis.
Three-Nine-Eight is the main restaurant that serves French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian and Mauritian cuisine. The restaurant evokes a spiritual ambience that is rooted in Feng Shui. Barlen’s is the beach bar and restaurant built from thatch and wood with Asian inspired décor. Safran is an elegant restaurant offering Indian dishes. There is also a barefoot restaurant at Ile aux Cerfs. Ilot Mangenie is the resort’s other romantic island where Crusoe’s Restaurant and Robinson’s Bar serves drinks and local food beachside underneath the trees. The Sega Bar is at the main pool of the resort.
Le Touessrok offers the guest a choice of sports and activities on land. The southern trade wind, reefs and waters of the warm Indian Ocean also offer the guest the absolute best in windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. The white sandy beaches are ideal for idling on a relaxing sun bed under the shade of a thatched parasol, for playing games, or for simply strolling along the coastline. The large freeform main pool at the resort is a peaceful tropical environment in which a guest can swim up to the resort’s Sega Bar. There is another secluded pool at Barlen’s beach restaurant. Delicious light meals and snacks with refreshing beverages are served at the poolside and the beaches from early morning until sundown.
The resort offers football, badminton, archery, aqua gym lessons, a jogging track, volleyball, tennis and bocciball. The Fitness Centre offers personal training and ptogrammes for golf, tennis, aquatic exercises and swimming. Special excursions further afield are arranged for cycling and nature trails. Water sports can also be enjoyed such as windsurfing, water skiing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat trips, pedal boats, sailing boats, kayaks and canoes at the boat house and sports centre on Ile aux Cerfs.
